Service bookings
Cancellations and refunds depend on the booking status and vendor policy shown at checkout. As a default on Serve:
- Clients may cancel pending bookings before the vendor accepts.
- After acceptance, rescheduling may be available up to 24 hours before the appointment where the vendor supports it.
- Refunds for paid bookings are processed to the original Paystack payment method when approved.
- No-shows and late cancellations may forfeit payment per vendor terms disclosed before payment.
Disputes
If a service was not delivered as described, open a dispute from your booking within 7 days of the scheduled time. We may request messages, photos, or other evidence. Decisions are made in good faith; Paystack settlement timelines may apply.
Property inquiries
Property listings do not use the same checkout flow as services. Deposits or rent payments arranged off-platform are outside Serve's refund control. Always verify agency authority and ownership before transferring money.
